This Sunday our children and youth activities will be back in full swing. We will begin Way of the Child this Sunday from 4:30-5:30pm. Way of the Child is a time for 1st through 5th grade children to gather together and make room for God in the midst of the rushed routine of life. We pray, learn, and explore all the while intentionally listening for what God is doing among us.
This time Way of the Child is 5 weeks long. We will meet each Sunday in September and the first Sunday in October. We are studying the book God’s Paintbrush by Rabbi Sandy Eisenberg Sasso which invites us to experience God through our senses. Our weekly sessions will be: What is God Like?, Seeing, Hearing and Speaking, Touching, and Doing. I do hope your child will be able to come to Way of the Child. It is time well spent!
Also this Sunday night we will begin F4 for the youth in the Family Fellowship Center from 6:00-8:00pm. This time together allows for play and fellowship around the table during dinner, but also a time to focus as the week begins on how God is shaping us. It’s going to be a great fall that you won’t want to miss so let’s jump in!
