On Saturday afternoon, families with young children gathered in the Family Fellowship Center to celebrate Easter. We didn’t care that the weather wouldn’t let us hunt eggs outside. We just gathered them inside instead. The Easter egg hunt was the most fun part, but not the coolest part! We dyed Easter eggs which is always a favorite activity. But the best part of the day, for me, was when each family made resurrection scenes out of twigs, dirt, and rocks. They created a visual for Calvary and the Empty Tomb to take home and remember the Easter story.
I hope you are able to experience the joy and hope of Easter.
