New Testament Character Studies
Posted by Carlton on Jan 11, 2012 in Featured Stories, Seedlings | 0 commentsA New Wednesday Night Bible Study Series
Beginning on January 11th and continuing through the end of May our Bible studies on Wednesday nights will focus on various people in the New Testament. We’ll begin with Anna and Simeon whom we encounter right after the birth of Jesus and we’ll conclude with Philemon, an individual who received a brief letter from Paul. Along the way we’ll examine both the unnamed, such as the woman in John, chapter 8, the more well-known, such as Thomas, Mary and Martha and the powerful, such as Governor Felix.
In the process of hearing their stories and examining their lives we’ll learn more about what God expects of us and what he offers to each of us. Some will set an example for us to follow and some will set examples we’d best avoid. All have significant things to teach us. So join us on Wednesday nights. I encourage you to make a reservation to join us for our Wednesday evening meal if you can. If not, then join us each Wednesday evening at 6:15 pm for a time of prayer and our study.
